The Importance of Discipline in Choosing and Eating Food

Summary of the Nutrition Legion Session (Jones’s Legion) Led by Respected Guide, Traveler Mehdi – Sunday, June 1, 2025
Drawing from the insights of Mr. Hossein Dezhakam in the CD “Cycles of Creation 2”, we understand that to live a healthy life and experience peace of mind, discipline is essential—even when it comes to something as simple as choosing and eating our food.
In other words, maintaining a healthy body requires consistency: three main meals should be eaten at fixed times each day. Breakfast should be before 8:00 a.m., lunch no later than 3:00 p.m., and dinner at least two hours before bedtime, ideally around 9:00 p.m. Sticking to this schedule activates your metabolism and triggers fat-burning processes, leading to weight loss and better overall health.
To improve health even further, certain habits are highly recommended: eating salad about 20 minutes before lunch and dinner, having healthy snacks such as one serving of fruit, maintaining a proper sleep routine, and incorporating daily walks. These practices help bring balance to both body and mind, paving the way for inner peace.

In this CD, Mr. Dezhakam also talked about several vegetables that are especially good and have cancer-fighting properties. Eating them fresh- especially in salads- plays a significant role in keeping you healthy and preventing the development and spread of various cancers. These vegetables include:
1. Carrots: They help protect against four types of cancer. It’s recommended to eat the whole carrot, not just the juice.
2. Tomatoes: They are more beneficial when cooked because their pectin helps clean the liver. They are especially helpful for first-travel pupils.
3. Different kinds of cabbage (especially broccoli): These are full of antioxidants and plant-based proteins, which strengthen the immune system
4. Raw garlic: It’s suggested to eat it once or twice a week, about the size of a sugar cube each time. According to Mr. Dezhakam, raw garlic fights all kinds of cancer.

Following that, Mr. Dezhakam introduced a refreshing, healthy and natural drink for hot summer days, made from grape syrup, apple cider vinegar (apple D-sap), and water.
The recipe calls for:
• one glass of grape syrup
• half a glass of apple cider vinegar
• seven glasses of cold water or sparkling cold water.
Smaller families can reduce the quantities and use a tea cup instead of a glass. The important point is that this drink should be consumed fresh.
Wishing health and wellness to all travelers.
