You have a truly outstanding branch, and there is a wonderful atmosphere here. Many experienced guides are actively present here, and the positive energy of this branch comes from the positive mindset and spirit of its members—the good and positive feeling and atmosphere in this branch is the result of our [good] relationships, thoughts, our contemplation. I hope we are all granted the opportunity to preserve this positive atmosphere, as it supports and guides us in carrying out our responsibilities in the right way.
Definitely, genuine affection is always accompanied by positive energy. Congress 60 has now grown to more than 210,000 members and operates approximately 160 branches. The number of recoveries achieved through Opium Tincture (OT) medication has surpassed 70,000, whose liberation from addiction has been confirmed in follow-up tests [each Congress 60 member must take a follow-up test three, six and one year after being liberated from addiction, to make sure that their recovery has been sustainable]. Overall, since 1999, the total number of successful recoveries has exceeded 100,000.
Through its educational programs, Congress 60 has become an exceptionally strong organization in terms of scientific knowledge, financial stability, and professional expertise. Mr. William White, an internationally recognized researcher in the field of addiction, has remarked that there is no organization anywhere in the world quite like Congress 60.
Since the Academy Branch building belongs to the Drug Control Headquarters, it must be returned after 26 years of use. The relocation process is currently underway.
Within Congress 60, even the Didebans transcribe educational audio files (CDs). One important example of today's agenda is showing respect for positions. We must respect the Branch Agent and the Marzbans (Boarder Guards), and the same applies to our guides. Failing to respect a guide is an example of discourtesy and imbalance. The role of Newcomer’s guides is especially important because they are responsible for welcoming and attracting new members. A Newcomer’s guide must embody the principles they teach. For example, a guide cannot speak about order and discipline while appearing untidy or poorly organized.
We must also learn not to overstep our boundaries. A positive atmosphere is damaged when we interfere in matters that do not concern us. Maintaining positive energy means doing our own work well and directing our energy toward our own responsibilities.
