Congress 60 Discovered the Key to Addiction Cure
The problem of addiction is the first scientific cornerstone of Congress 60—a strong foundation built by Mr. Dezhakam to clearly explain the nature, definition, and mechanisms of addiction. Thanks to this solid foundation, addiction is no longer viewed as a simple or marginal issue, but as a specialized and independent scientific field—one whose full development requires contributions from all areas of knowledge.
In our daily lives, we constantly face problems, and to solve them, we need to know the right solution for each one. Unfortunately, for many years, people have struggled with addiction. Because they couldn’t find the correct path, they ended up in terrible situations and became victims. There were also people who tried many different ways to overcome their addiction, but they didn’t succeed because the treatments were short-lived, inappropriate, and harmful to their bodies.
People around the world believed that to overcome addiction, all a user had to do was stop taking drugs—by any means necessary, whether through whipping the [poor] addict, detox, spiritual healing, or ultra-rapid detox (URD), as long as they had enough willpower. But only Congress 60 proclaimed globally that addiction has a definitive cure. Congress 60 argued that drug users are not “poisoned” and don’t need detox, nor are they criminals deserving punishment. Instead, Congress 60 believes that after years of drug use, the body’s X System [a body system producing natural opioid-like substances] can no longer function properly, and external drugs replace the brain’s natural chemicals. To restore balance, the correct DST method and OT (Opium Tincture) must be used for an 10 to 11-month treatment period.
Mr. Dezhakam used to struggle with drug addiction for 17 years. Based on his own experience, he uncovered the problem of addiction. At a time when almost everyone believed addiction to be either incurable or a mysterious, progressive disease, he challenged these beliefs. Through his research and personal experience, he demonstrated that addiction is, in fact, a chronic substitution. In 1999, in the first article of his book “Innovations in Addiction Treatment and Recovery: The Story of Congress 60”, he wrote about addiction and its cure, providing clear and definitive answers to all previously unanswered questions.
How can a city that has been bombed, with all its sewage, electricity, water, gas, and other infrastructure destroyed, be rebuilt in a short period of time? This process requires a certain amount of time, and it cannot be fixed quickly.
The body system is similarly damaged by drug abuse, and repairing it requires using the correct DST method, appropriate Opium Tincture (OT) medication, and a period of ten to eleven months. When the endorphin system is out of balance and the X system has lost control, the treatment triangle — body, psyche, and worldview — comes into focus. With proper planning, we can restore balance to the body, mind, and worldview through the teachings of Congress 60.
In the book “Innovations in Addiction Treatment and Recovery: The Story of Congress 60”, the first article discussed addiction and its treatment, answering many previously unanswered questions. Mr. Dezhakam explained the nature of addiction and categorized users, emphasizing that science is not complicated and every problem has its key—fortunately, the key to curing addiction was discovered. According to his research, the cheapest, safest, and most comprehensive medicine for addiction treatment is opium. His goal is full recovery, meaning that users should be completely healed and reach a balance where, even if exposed to drugs, they would not feel tempted to use them. According to Mr. Dezhakam, the cure is considered complete once this balance is achieved.
To treat addiction, three factors must be considered: body, psyche, and worldview. If any one of these factors is incomplete, treatment cannot succeed. He categorized users into three groups. The first group includes candidates for addiction —they use drugs recreationally and believe they will never become addicted, but in reality, they often do. These people need awareness and understanding. The second group consists of users who are satisfied with their addiction and believe they have found a magical substance. For this group, nothing can be done unless they reach a point of awareness. The third group consists of users who suffer from addiction and seek liberation. Despite all their efforts, they haven’t found a way to cure themselves. We can offer them a clear and effective program for their recovery.
In the above-mentioned book, Mr. Dezhakam explains that when an addict stops using drugs, two types of reactions, including visible and hidden reactions, occur — and overlooking these reactions is what has led to the failure of many common treatment methods today.
The visible reactions usually start a few hours after the expected time of drug use is missed, depending on the type of drug, amount, and frequency of use within 24 hours. Symptoms like sweating, leg twitching, runny nose, repeated sneezing, diarrhea, and insomnia appear.
The body regains balance within a week at most. While symptoms lessen significantly after two weeks, they don’t completely disappear. Without full cure, this imbalance eventually leads the person back to addiction.
But the next stage - the most sensitive and hidden part of quitting and curing addiction - involves the body’s hidden reactions. At first, these problems aren’t psychological. They happen because the body’s natural pain relief system gets weaker and stops producing enough natural painkillers (like endorphins). The cure needs to help these systems gradually start working again.
May the DST method soon spread across the world, so that no one has to suffer from addiction anymore and everyone can find healing and liberation.
