Every year, the Congress of Addiction Science takes place at Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. The event features lectures by renowned professors on addiction and related topics, followed by Q&A sessions. Congress 60 will be participating in this year's event, as they have in previous years. The panel for Congress 60 includes Mr. Hossein Dezhakam, Dr. Daneshmand, Ms. Ani Dezhakam, and Dr. Arvin Haqiqatnezhad.
We are excited to share that Congress 60 will be participating in two sections with two exciting topics this year! The first section will cover "The latest findings and treatment experiences in Congress 60". Meanwhile, the second section will focus on "The latest state of non-governmental organizations in the country, their strengths, and weaknesses." We hope you can join us for the Congress 60 panel on Wednesday and Thursday, September 20th and 21st, 2023, at the Razi International Convention Center.
Here are the topics for the upcoming lectures:
- Mr. Hossein Dejakam will be discussing "The DST method and DOD triangle in addiction treatment" & "Treatment with syrup of opium, advantages and drawbacks"
- Dr. Haqirat Fard will explore whether addiction is a mental illness or an epigenetic pattern.
- Mrs. Annie Dejakam's lecture will focus on examining the level of expression of BDNF and HTTPLRS genes in opium users treated with the DST method.
- Dr. Daneshmand will share his experience with the 60th Congress.
