Healthy Nutrition Legion

The fourteenth session of the third round of the Jones's Legion [Healthy Nutrition Legion] was held at 7:30 PM at the Arghavan Park branch in Neyshabour.
The topic of this week’s session was the CD “Passage.”

Hello friends, I'm Behzad, a Jones’ Legion traveller.
The topic of this week’s legion session is the CD “Passage” and I want to share my interpretation of it. All human beings need to go through “passages” in life; a “passage” means going through the difficulties and obstacles we’ll face along our paths. For me, one such passage was my struggle with weight gain and obesity. Passing through these difficult stages can bring about peace and positive transformation. Another example of a passage is overcoming addiction —a passage that second-traveller pupils in Congress 60 manage to cross through persistence and effort. Being in the passage of weight gain brought me problems, suffering, and illness, which, Fortunately, I couldn’t come to terms with it.

I used to think that slavery only existed in ancient times or certain countries, but I figured out that many people in the 21st century are still enslaved—though in different forms. The concept of slavery means being captive and bound. When a person is trapped in obesity and it negatively impacts their health and wellbeing, they become a slave to it and must break free from those chains to regain their freedom. Similarly, one can be enslaved by despair, held captive by resentment and anger, and many other issues. I hope everyone can liberate themselves from the slavery of obesity‌.
Mr. Dezhakam says that the way to pass through life’s difficult passages is by living and applying the Fourteen Valleys.
Another point I want to make about sugar... helps viruses, the flu, and colds take hold by weakening the immune system. This leads to increased inflammation in the body and can even help cancer cells grow. It’s upsetting to see people bring sugary snacks and store-bought juices to someone who’s sick; I don’t think those things have any nutritional value and might even be harmful.
Just like a plane that crashes when it remains idle, human beings, too, cannot afford to stay still. The lesson I take from Congress’s teachings is that stagnation is not permissible for us; we must constantly be in motion, learning, and evolving.
