Communications of Hossein and Bill (Reply to Bill, February 25, 2025)

February 25, 2025

Dear Bill,

I hope you are well; I am doing well.
I am very happy that you are working on the optimal dosage of methadone and buprenorphine in the United States, and your research is extremely valuable—it truly made me happy.

I want to say something very clearly and without any formalities, even though I’ve mentioned this sporadically before.
When it comes to addiction, I have no comments on the work of recovery specialists because the scientists in this field know exactly what they are doing and have made significant progress. If people have been able to abstain from drugs or alcohol for years, it is solely due to the efforts of these individuals — the recovery specialists.

However, if I want to speak about the medical, psychiatric, and other specialists in this field, I must say that not only is there no real science and knowledge here, but there are also a great deal of illusions, misconceptions, and false claims dominating this area.
In other words, from a scientific standpoint, we are not even at zero — we are below zero — and the first step must be to discard these false beliefs, which have taken on a scientific appearance, and replace them with true knowledge.

In reality, before prescribing any medication, the key points of addiction physiology and the core issues must be fully understood — many of the answers to these questions are available in our joint book:
Innovations in Addiction Treatment and Recovery

For example, in this book, from pages 121 to 126, there is a discussion about three important concepts: saturation, adaptation, and nutrition — these are key points. Also, from pages 51 to 55, the DST method is briefly explained.

In my opinion, the science of medical treatment must be completely overhauled, transitioning from illusions to true treatment. Today's medical approach to addiction is like searching for a needle in a haystack — except the needle isn’t even there!

In the panel we held jointly in Tehran, many students and specialists attended, and in the speeches given by Ani and Dr. Arvin, it became crystal clear how gene expression had been disrupted and how the DST method successfully re-regulated these genes.

However, with "cold turkey" withdrawal, sudden drug cessation, or the use of other medications such as naloxone, B2 (buprenorphine), or methadone for so-called detox or drug discontinuation, not only were the genes not re-regulated, but multiple damages were inflicted on other physiological systems — I hope the article about this will be published soon.

A few days ago, I also sent you the article on breast cancer metastasis inhibition that was recently published. What’s fascinating is that addiction and most other diseases stem from the dysregulation of certain gene expressions. Today, with the DST method and OT (opium tincture) medication, we can return these genes to their proper function and correct their expression — whether the disease is eye-related, colorectal, MS, addiction, or anything else.

Another point: it is now tree-planting season, and Congress 60 members are actively planting trees. Fortunately, a new branch of activity called desertification prevention has been added to our tree-planting efforts. In this section, instead of planting tree saplings, we plant tree seeds or desert shrubs.

In a recent video, Congress 60 members were shown planting seeds across a 1,700-hectare desert area with the support and permission of the Natural Resources Organization. This work will continue over four weeks, on Fridays (a public holiday across the country), aiming to transform the desert into a forest.

Another note: Ramadan will begin in a few days, and about 24 days later, spring and Nowruz (Persian New Year) will arrive. Congress 60 will go on a 15-day holiday during the spring and Nowruz celebrations.

In closing, I am very pleased that our joint research is progressing well and that the entire team is working hard. Your valuable research, along with the efforts of the Chestnut Institute and your esteemed scientific colleagues, will undoubtedly open new paths.

Since you are recognized not only in the United States but globally as a leading scientist in this field, your research and articles could reveal the true science behind addiction treatment. Our scientific work at the cellular and molecular levels complements your research perfectly.

Finally, I’m excited to share that our article comparing the DST method and OT medication with other treatment methods — including sudden withdrawal ("cold turkey"), B2 (buprenorphine), naloxone, and others — was accepted two days ago and will be published soon. This article will show, at the cellular and molecular level, how current flawed addiction treatments damage human health, the immune system, and other vital functions.

Additionally, another article on epilepsy was accepted two days ago and will also be published soon.

Wishing you eternal youth and vitality,
Your lifelong friend and brother on heaven and earth,
Hossein
