On the second day of the 16th Addiction Science Congress, we had the opportunity to interview Mrs. Annie, the archer (Kamandar). After her participation in the panel discussion from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, she dedicated her time to the Congress 60 website. We would like to highlight the interview we conducted with her.
• Hello and thank you for your time, please introduce yourself:
Hello. I am Annie Dezhakam, a guide in Congress 60.
• Please explain the purpose of the Addiction Science Congress and describe your experience at the event.
The Addiction Science Congress has various goals. I did not attend the different panels, so I could not see their work. However, the part related to the Congress's work is valuable. The aim is to educate and increase understanding of addiction. Researchers, students, and groups like NGOs and government organizations convene to exchange information about addiction. Obviously, I was invited to attend a panel discussing the article on BDNF and 5-HTTPLR gene expression, and we had a conversation about it. It was a successful panel with the attendance of ladies and gentlemen. The main hall was 80% full, indicating a positive reception. It is a pleasure to have Congress 60’s members participate in these activities.

In 1976, following the father's treatment, the book “Crossing the Zone of Minus 60 Degrees” was written, resulting in the development of knowledge in addiction treatment. A portion of the findings were documented in the book Fourteen Articles, while the remaining content can be found in additional publications. Since the start of the Addiction Science Congress, the 60th Congress has also participated. Our goal is to share the knowledge and information presented at the Congress with various systems, NGOs, and organizations for their consideration and analysis.
• If there's anything else you'd like to say before we finish up, please don't hesitate to share.
It brings me great joy that a new chapter has begun this year. Previously, there has been a lot of talk about the 60th Congress, where people gather to enhance different aspects of themselves. It's important to note that the treatment includes three components: the physical body, worldview, and mental state.
Significant changes in gene expression were observed in individuals who received treatment for addiction using the DST method. Materials describing these findings were written and presented.
The fascinating aspect of our work in the physiology department is the ability to analyze the DST method through molecular and neuropsychological mechanisms. Thank you for devoting your time and effort to this project.
