Wednesdays' Workshop by Mr. Hossen Dezhakam

Wednesdays' Workshop by Mr. Hossen Dezhakam

The 11th  session of the 82nd  round of  Congress 60 workshops in the Academy branch of Congress 60 was administered on September 25th, 2024 at 10 a.m. by Mr. Hossein  Dezhakam as the guest speaker and Mr. Alireza as the secretary. The agenda was “The Eighth Valley and its Effect on Me”.
Mr. Dezhakam’s speech:
Today, we had more than 70 liberations from addiction, and I have to give some 50 more liberation commands after the meeting, I did not cancel the meeting, because I had to give the Pahvelans’ Shawls [shawls in Congress 60 are of different colors, each of which is a sign of one Serving position. Pahlevans are those members of Congress 60, who have donated about 500 million Tomans  (9000 dollars) to develop Congress 60’s aims, as they pay the money, they will receive a Shawl and a highly valuable volume of the Holy Quran]
The agenda for this week is the Eighth Valley, the Eighth valley reads “The path is revealed by moving”. Each of these valleys, in my opinion, is beautiful and complete, and each one shows us the way. If we can put the First Valley into practice and implement it, believe me, it’s as if we've already reached the Fourteenth Valley. The First Valley reads “With thinking and contemplation, everything starts; without thinking, whatever exists will decay”.

This valley tells us that as long as we don’t move, the path won't be revealed. Sometimes, we want to do something, but we bring up so many "what ifs"—what if this [problem] happens, what if that happens? It’s true that when we want to do something, we should make a general plan, but we also need to move. Once we start moving, we suddenly realize that things begin to resolve spontaneously.
Just imagine you need money, but you don’t leave your house. But, as soon as you step out, you might bump into someone who owes you money and say, “I’ve been looking for you because I wanted to return your money.” For anything, we want to do, we must take action. In all areas of life, no specific time has been set for us to take action—whether in education or anything else—there’s no fixed time, and a person can start their work at any stage of their life.
We've said many times that if we want to go to Chalus, from here we can't say how many downhills there are on our path, how many left turns or right turns. We know there's a winding mountain path, but once we start moving, the signs will tell us, the road itself will guide us; the road will tell you which step we should take, as we go further.
A Persian poem reads, “Take the first step on the path without saying anything, the path itself will tell you how to proceed”. If you want to pursue a specific field of study, just start moving, and the path will guide you on what to do next. The journey itself provides the necessary information; you simply need to take that first step. For instance, when you come to the Congress 60 to cure your addiction, once you step into the Congress 60, it will guide you on what to do. You join a legion, and once you're in the legion, it will show you the way. The program itself will tell you what to do next.
I want to say that if we want to do something, nothing will happen until we take action. When we take the first step, that’s when things start to unfold. Whether you want to buy a house, purchase land, engage in farming, or buy saplings—whatever it is—you plan the basics first and then take action. As you move forward, the path itself will guide you on what to do next.
The most important thing is that we start something. The most important step to cure addiction for any individual is to begin the treatment. The key is starting the treatment. Therefore, for anything we want to do, we must begin, because until we start, nothing happens. We take action, and God blesses us, leading us to our desired outcomes.

We have achieved success through taking these steps. The DST method started with a movement, and the path became clear. The smoking cessation program began, and the path was revealed. The same happened with weight loss and body structure—action was taken, and the way forward became evident. Today, I’ve concluded that everyone in Congress 60 should follow the Jones Legion program [for weight loss] and adopt healthy eating habits. It doesn’t matter whether you're aiming for weight loss or not. Just as every Congress 60’s member transcribes the Educational CDs, everyone should follow this program. If someone has a balanced weight, they don’t need a guide or to join a legion. But for those with significant weight gain or extreme thinness, they should join. The rest must follow the program for a healthy body.
Everyone should eat two boiled eggs in the morning. All of us need to do this because eggs contain the strongest, most beneficial, highest-quality, and cheapest source of protein. You don’t need to buy meat at 800 thousand Tomans per kilo; just eat two eggs, and it will provide the necessary protein for your body. Protein is something that the body cannot store. We have carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. The first two can be stored, but protein cannot. If protein could be stored in the body, it would be good, but since it can’t, what happens? When the body needs protein for its building processes, it is forced to burn muscle, consume it [to provide protein].
Some people go on weight loss diets and their eyes become sunken, their faces dry out. This is because they are doing it wrong; they are not getting enough protein, which decreases. The body needs protein, and it continuously burns and consumes muscle. When it comes to weight loss, do not try any innovative methods on your own.
If you want to be healthy, have a good digestive system, live a long life, and not age quickly or become frail, you have to include salads and eggs in your diet. Even if you’re poor, you can manage to get a lettuce and a tomato; you just need to learn to eat your salad half an hour before meals. The members of Congress 60 must learn how to live; we need to eat our salads before meals to avoid getting sick. If we don’t walk or exercise, I’m sorry to say, but tomorrow, as we grow older, we might have two jars in our hands: one for urine and one for stool. We’ll go to the lab, running around trying to find a treatment for our diseases. If you end up spending a night in the hospital, you’ll have to pay several million tomans. You need to do this for your health.
Another thing I mentioned in the previous sessions is that we have to help other people around the world as much as we can. How do we help other people? Through Instagram and our website. As I said last time, we should not create individual Instagram pages or websites for ourselves. No, we should focus on the Instagram and website of Congress 60. We have to support Congress 60’s site and Instagram page so that its followers increase and therefore, people around the world can find us more easily.
Thank you for listening to me
