Communications of Hossein and Bill ((Reply to Hossein - February 26, 2023)

February 26, ۲۰۲۲

Dear Hossein,

I am pleased to hear that Didehban’s week is going well. I have received emails of congratulations and well wishes from hundreds of members of Congress 60 this past week and have tried to personally respond to as many as I could. Please extend my warmest thanks for these messages—both to those I responded to and to any individuals who did not hear back personally from me. Hearing from so many members of Congress 60 further strengthened my bonds of affection and my respect for all that Congress 60 has achieved.  The stories of recovery I received from members of Congress 60 this week were deeply inspiring. There was a time when people in recovery bowed on their knees with eyes cast down, not in prayer or humility, but in shame for their past addiction history. But today, members of Congress 60 are standing to declare that full recovery from addiction is not just possible but alive in cities across Iran. They are offering their own lives as living proof of that proposition. And their personal testimonies are killing the lie of “once an addict, always an addict.” Today they are proclaiming that recovery is far more than the removal of drugs from an otherwise unchanged life and that individuals and families can not just cease suffering but move forward to a state of flourishing. Recovery in Congress 60 fulfills the promise that an addicted individual can not just eliminate addiction from his or her life but can also go on to a full, meaningful, and productive life. Individuals that were once a burden and problem for their communities are now, thanks to Congress 60, valuable assets for their families and communities. That was the central message in the stories I received this week from members of Congress 60.  Your speeches and writings continue to convey the essence of Congress 60. It is good that both your spoken and written words will be available to all far into the future. My task is to spread those messages far beyond Iran to all corners of the Earth.  Work on the book is progressing nicely. I have removed the country reference from the book title as you requested and have just this weekend finished another read through and polish of the latest draft of the book. The attached copy that I am sending is now formatted in the size we discussed. My hope is that you will be able to review it and that we should both look again at the content to see if there are any additional topics that we should include with your offered guidance. I think the book is now very close but there may still be some additions we could make to it. Once we get this finalized, we can discuss details for its dissemination in Farsi and in English versions. I look forward to your feedback on this latest version. Let me say again what a pleasure it has been to work on this with you. We have no set timeline so we can take what time we need to get it as close to perfection as possible.  Congratulations in completing the  “structure of body” book. I will look forward to reading this once it is translated by our dear Ehsan. This book will be a welcome addition to your many contributions to humanity. Poor diet and weight problems are a major health concern in the United States and many other countries, and new quack cures for this problem are added each day as a source of financial exploitation. Sound, reasonable guidance that you can offer for this problem is a welcome alternative to such fraud.  There will be a short break in our communications as I will be leaving to vacation with my sisters at the end of this week and will not return until March 13. I hope that will provide time for you to review the attached draft.  Please extend my warmest regards to your family and to all members of Congress 60. I appreciate the love they have expressed to me this past week.

Friends and Brothers Forever
