Dear Bill,
I hope you are doing well; I am perfectly fine too. Yesterday, the first group of male and female travelers, as well as male and female co-travelers, in four groups, celebrated their graduation by receiving the orange shawl. I’m sending you three short video clips of the event. In one of the videos, individuals are standing, raising their left hand, holding the pledge text in their right hand, and pledging in the presence of God and others to serve humanity. The pledge text is read by my eldest daughter, Ani, who is pursuing a PhD in biochemistry and is responsible for all female co-travelers of Congress 60, while others repeat after her.
By the way, at this stage, people from over 30 cities, from various distances, came to Tehran to take the pledge. In the end, I will ask Ehsan to translate the pledge text and send it to you. Apologies for the brevity of the letter.
Your eternal friend and brother on earth and in heaven,
Hossein
