This will give you an idea of what I envisioned in terms of alphabetically organized topical quotes. If you like this format, I can begin including excerpts from your papers, books, and from our years of email communications. When this is complete, I think we could then review it for additional topics not yet covered in your writings that we may want you to address in this book. In other words, it would include highlights from your earlier writings but also include new material that has not yet been released until this book. Some of the excerpts could be shortened in the final copyediting if we feel the book has gotten too long. I think the main goal is to highlight what you have said on key topics related to addiction, addiction treatment, and addiction recovery that readers can easily draw upon. I also think of it as something that could be used as a daily meditational by people in recovery, their family members, and addiction professionals.&amp;nbsp; I think this book project has a lot of potential and am looking forward to our continued work on it.&amp;nbsp; My energy is slowly returning following my ministroke and I appreciate your well wishes regarding my health. At our age, we need to take care of ourselves to assure our continued work together can be completed. As we close out 2022, I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to Ehsan for another year of his service faithfully translating our communications.
