خوشحالم که تا به اینجا از پیشرفت کتاب راضی هستید. آخرین نوشته‌های شما که شامل نوشته‌های موضوعی و معارفه بود به پیش‌نویس اضافه شد و من آغاز به ویرایش با دقت پیش‌نویس خواهم کرد تا هرگونه تکرار را حذف کنم و موضوعات دیگری که می‌تواند برای کتاب مناسب باشد پیدا کنم.
این بازبینی هفته‌های بیشتری به طول خواهد انجامید چرا که با دقت بیشتری انجام خواهد شد و من شما را در جریان پیشرفت کار قرار خواهم داد. پاسخ‌های سریع شما به درخواست‌های من باعث شده کتاب بسیار سریع‌تر از آنچه پیش‌بینی کرده بودم پیشرفت کند. من فکر می‌کنم این کتاب ارزش زیادی در میان نوشته‌های حوزه درمان و ریکاوری از اعتیاد خواهد داشت.
خوشحالم که می‌شنوم تأثیر متد دی اس تی بر سرطان سینه، ام اس و کولیت اولسراتیو توسط انستیتو پاستور رو به پیشرفت است. شما صحیح می‌گوید که کلید شناساندن متد دی اس تی، در انجام آزمایشات حیوانی و سپس انسانی و انتشار مقاله از روی این تحقیقات است.
درحالی‌که مدرک زنده این متد زندگی ده‌ها هزار عضو کنگره ۶۰ است، مطالعات علمی کلید گسترش بیشتر این متد به کشورهای دیگر است. مقالات منتشرشده درباره متد دی اس تی تا به امروز شروعی عالی برای این پروسه است.
در انتظار دریافت عکس‌ها و معارفه از دیده بان های دیگر کنگره ۶۰ هستم. ما بارها درباره اهمیت آن‌ها در آینده کنگره ۶۰ صحبت کرده‌ایم. در ایالات‌متحده بسیاری از برنامه‌های درمانی به خاطر نداشتن چنین ساختار قوی در رهبری شکست خورده‌اند.
فرزندان شما باید به خاطر تلاششان برای ادامه تحصیل مورد تحسین قرار بگیرند. ما بسیار به ادامه تحصیل فرزندانمان افتخار می‌کنیم. برای دختر من آلیشا در ماه می مشخص خواهد شد که آیا در دانشگاه الینویس غربی که در حال حاضر تدریس می‌کند، به جایگاه پروفسور کامل می‌رسد یا خیر. او نیز مانند من به نوشتن و تحقیق علاقه مند است.
رشد کنگره ۶۰ در سال‌های اخیر استثنایی است. رسیدن به ۱۴۰ هزار کارت عضویت و صد شعبه چیزی کمتر از معجزه نیست. فکر کردن به زندگی‌هایی که با این کار بعد از رهایی خود، تحت تأثیر قرار داده‌اید حتماً احساس خوب تکامل به شما می‌دهد.
در روز آخر زندگی‌مان بر روی کره زمین، آخرین نفس را در حالی می‌کشیم که می‌دانیم آنچه می‌توانستیم برای گشودن هر چه بیشتر دروازه‌های ورود به ریکاوری انجام داده‌ایم و تلاش‌های ما افراد، اجتماعات و خانواده‌های بسیاری را تحت تأثیر قرار داده است. این خود به تنهایی میراثی ارزشمند است.

I am glad you are pleased with the progress on the book so far. Your latest contributions—both the topical additions and the introduction—have now been integrated into the draft and I will now begin a careful edit of the draft to eliminate any duplication and to identify any other topical areas that would be good for your to offer guidance on. This more careful review will take some weeks and I will keep you updated on my progress. Your timely responses to my requests have made work on the book go much faster than I originally anticipated. I think this book is going to be a very important addition to the addiction treatment and addiction recovery literature.
I am pleased to hear that the effects of the DST method on breast cancer, MS, and ulcerative Colitis by Pastor institute is progressing. You are correct in stating that the key to achieving recognition of the DST method lies first in getting animal and then human trials conducted and published in scientific journals. While “living proof” of this method exists in the lives of tens of thousands of Congress 60 members, the scientific studies will be key to the wider dissemination of this method to other countries. The articles published on the DST method to date mark an excellent start to this process.
I look forward to the photos and introductions of the other Congress 60 Didehbans. We have spoken many times about their importance to the future of Congress 60. In the U.S., we have had many treatment programs fail due to the lack of such a strong leadership structure.
Your children are to be commended for their continued education efforts. We have much to be proud of in our children’s educational pursuits. My daughter Alisha will find out in May if she has achieved the status of full professor at Western Illinois University where she teaches. She shares my interests in research and writing.
The growth of Congress 60 in recent years is remarkable! To have reached 140,000 membership cards and 100 branches is near miraculous. It must be deeply fulfilling for you to think of the lives that have been touched in the aftermath of your own redemption from addiction. That is a fulfillment that I feel as well.
On our last day on this earth, we will be able to take our last breath knowing that we have done what we could to widen the doorways of entry into recovery and that our efforts touched many individuals, families and communities. That alone is a worthy legacy.
