فردا چهارشنبه به وقت ما در ایران اولین روز کنگره بین‌المللی دانش اعتیاد شروع می‌شود و روز پنجشنبه از ساعت 13:30 تا 15:30 پنل ما برگزار می‌شود.
در این پنل متن سخنرانی شما را دخترم شانی که کارشناس ارشد روان‌شناسی است، قرائت خواهد کرد؛ البته شانی از این بابت بسیار خوشحال است و به آن افتخار می‌کند.
به پیوست، پوستر سخنرانی خودمان در پنل را برای شما ارسال می‌کنم و پس از برگزاری پنل، نتیجه آن را برای شما خواهم نوشت.
در ضمن در یک آزمایش کوتاه و سبک که پیش‌تر گفتم برای معتاد کردن موش‌های صحرایی به هروئین، شش موش را به روش Jefferson & Anderson انجام دادیم که همگی مُردند و شش موش دیگر که با روش DST معتاد کردیم، فقط یکی از آن‌ها مُرد و پس از کالبدشکافی مشخص شد که مرگ این موش در اثر عفونت بوده است؛ البته بیماری عفونت در موش‌ها که به‌وسیله تزریق دارو تحت آزمایش و تحقیقات قرار می‌گیرند امری طبیعی است؛ حال باید این آزمایش را با موش‌های بیشتر و با دریافت مجوزهای لازم به انجام برسانیم.
بیل عزیز؛ از زمانی که شروع به تحقیق اعتیاد روی موش‌های صحرایی کردیم، دنیای جدیدی بر روی ما باز شد و پاسخ سوالات بسیاری را یافتیم؛ البته من 30سال پیش در اولین مقاله خودم تحت عنوان صورت‌مسئله اعتیاد، پیش‌بینی‌های لازم را انجام داده بودم و حتی تئوری ایکس را مطرح کردم و اکنون تمامی گفته‌های گذشته ما با آزمایش سلولی و ملکولی به اثبات خواهد رسید.
امیدوارم در آینده‌ای نزدیک، به اتفاق، افق تازه‌ای را در مورد درمان اعتیاد برای جهانیان باز کنیم.

Tomorrow, Wednesday (Iran time), marks the first day of the International Congress on Addiction Science, and on Thursday, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, our panel will be held.
During this panel, my daughter Shani, who holds a master's degree in psychology, will read your speech. Shani is very happy and honored to do so.

Additionally, in a short and simple experiment that I mentioned before, we attempted to induce heroin addiction in desert rats through injection. Using the Jefferson and Anderson method on six rats, all of them died. Meanwhile, among another six rats that we addicted to heroin using the DST method, only one died. After sacrificing this rat and conducting an autopsy, it was determined that its death was due to an infection. It is worth noting that infections in rats subjected to drug injections during experiments and research are a common occurrence.
Now, we need to conduct this experiment on more rats and obtain the necessary permits to continue.
Dear Bill, ever since we started researching addiction in desert rats, a whole new world has opened up for us, and we have found answers to many questions.
