خبر جدید درباره وبلاگ قطع سیگار اینکه این وبلاگ آماده است که روی سایت قرار بگیرد و تنها نیاز دارم تا فرد فنی که مسئول سایت است کمک کند تا عکسهایی که انتخاب کرده ام بهتر سازماندهی شوند. بعد از روز اول سال آنها را خواهم دید بنابراین در ژانویه وبلاگ پست خواهد شد. شما را از طریق ایمیل در جریان خواهم گذاشت. این وبلاگ در اختیار دیگر سازمانهای مربوط به ریکاوری نیز قرار دارد تا این مقاله را دوباره پست کنند.
از اطلاعات تکمیلی درباره تئوری ایکس و متد دی اس تی سپاسگزارم. اکنون اطلاعات کافی دارم تا پیشنویس را برای بازبینی شما آماده کنم. سعی میکنم پیشنویس را در ماه آینده برای بازبینی شما ارسال کنم. در این فصل اقوام زیادی برای بازدید می آیند و در تعطیلات کنار هم هستیم بنابراین کار روی پیشنویس بیش از معمول طول خواهد کشید.
سال گذشته سال پر مشکلی برای من بود چراکه شاهد بودم که زیر نظر رهبران جدید سیاسی، سیاستهای مربوط به مواد پسرفت کرد. امروز گزارشی اعلام کرد که طول زندگی مفید به علت افزایش میزان اوردوز کاهش یافته است.
میترسم که رهبران کنونی بخواهند راه خروج از اعتیاد را محدود کنند( این استراتژی قبلا شکست خورده است). چیزی که اینجا شاهد هستم یک سخنوری سطحی بدون داشتن منابع و کیفیت لازم برای درمان و ریکاوری است. در حالی که پیشرفتهای امیدوار کننده در تعداد زیادی از اجتماعات محلی به ظهور رسیده است هیچ کمک و توجهی از طرف رهبران کشور دریافت نکرده اند. خبر خوب این است که بسیاری از فعالان ریکاوری این سیاستهای پسرونده را به چالش کشیده اند. زمان نشان خواهد داد که این تلاشها چقدر موثر خواهند بود.
بسیاری برای فرار از هوای سرد شمال
در این وقت سال به جنوب غربی فلوریدا می آیند. اینجا گرم است و برای فعالیت در فضای آزاد مناسب است. نکته منفی آن این است که خیابان ها، مغازه ها و رستوران ها در این وقت سال بسیار شلوغ میشوند. اینجا شلوغ باقی خواهد ماند تا افراد اهل شمال در بهار به خانه هایشان بازگردند.
لطفا سلام من در پایان سال را به خانواده تان و اعضای کنگره ۶۰ برسانید. در چند هفته آتی یکسال دیگر از دوستی و همکاری را به پایان میرسانیم. ما مورد رحمت واقع شده ایم که توانسته ایم این ارتباطات را داشته باشیم و از طریق همکاری با یکدیگر دنیای بهتری بسازیم. به زودی سال جدید از این ماموریت مشترک را آغاز خواهیم نمود.

Dear Hossein,
As an update on the smoking cessation blog, I have the blog now ready for posting but need my tech person to help do a better arrangement of the photos I have chosen to include. I should be able to meet with them right after the first of the year so that the blog will be posted in January. I will email you to let you know when it is posted on my website. The blog will also be made available to other recovery advocacy organizations for reposting.
Thank you for providing the additional information on the X theory and the DST method. I think I now have enough to work on a draft for you to review. I will try to get this draft completed and sent to you in the next month. This is the season I have many family visitors and holiday gatherings so work on the draft will take a bit longer than usual.
This past year has been a troubling one for me as I’ve witnessed regressions on the drug policy front under our new political leadership. A report just came out today noting a decline in life expectancy in the U.S. due to rising drug overdose rates. I fear current leaders want to again try to incarcerate their way out of the addiction problem—a strategy that has hopelessly failed in the past. What I am seeing here is shallow rhetoric without substantive resources to elevate the quality of treatment and recovery support resources. While hopeful progress unfolds in many local communities, it does so unaided by national leadership. The good news is that there are many recovery activists who are challenging these regressive policies. Time will tell how successful these efforts will be.
This time of year in Southwest Florida, we have many visitors from the North seeking to escape the cold weather. It has been particularly warm here and quite pleasant for outside activities. The downside is that the streets, stores and restaurants can get very busy this time of year. It will remain this way until our winter visitors return home to the North in the spring.
Please extend my end of year greetings and best wishes to your family and to all members of Congress 60. In a few weeks, we will complete another year of friendship and collaboration. We have been very blessed to through these communications and the privilege of working together to create a better world. We will soon begin another year working together in this shared mission.
