The eighth session of the 31st round of Congress 60 workshops was held in Abu Reihan branch on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 4:00 PM by Vali-Allah as the guest speaker and traveler Mohammad as the master of ceremony, and traveler Vahid as the secretary. The agenda was "The sixth valley and its impact on me."
The guest speaker’s words:
I thank God for being in this position and serving you. I have gotten extra energy from this position, and I wish success for all of you. Today's agenda is the sixth valley which reads: “ We must carry out intellect’s command as the commander in chief.” If we take a look at the preceding valley, we will conclude a better understanding of this issue. In the fifth valley, it is said that “Cognition is not the absolute power of solution in our realm of existence. It will be completed with experience and achievement”. In order to move and achieve, we need a series of tools, and these tools help us reach the destination. When we cross the fifth valley, we enter the sixth valley. In this valley, a tool is introduced to us to move and reach, and this tool is very important. This tool is intellect, and intellect itself includes a series of tools. We can get help from these tools so that we can reach the destination healthier. One of these tools is sense. We define sense as the force that initiates the operation of the intellect. Now how can it help? People who are addicted to drugs are struggling with the problem that their senses are contaminated and spoiled. As a result, these corrupted senses cause them problems. They basically have a healthy intellect but their senses are out of order.
Our five senses are of great importance. For example, when someone enters their house, it is the smelling sense that helps them to understand whether there is a gas leak. If this sense does not work properly and he turns on the power switch, it will cause an explosion. In fact, intellect works properly for everyone, but sometimes the information that is given to the intellect through the sense is wrong and affects their decisions. They have given a series of information to their intellect through their senses. For instance, They come to a conclusion that the world involves only these momentary days and there are no other worlds, so with this misconception and wrong feelings and information, they will certainly not choose the right path. On the other hand, imagine a person with positive and good feelings and the right information that comes to the conclusion which asserts the world is not just these days and there is a world after death. These two kinds of thoughts give two different commands to their intellects. Thus senses and the information transmitted through them are tools for intellect. In fact, they help intellect to give the right or wrong command.
Speaking about the intellect’s command, we mean that it is the commander of the body. Wisdom is the other tool for intellect which means the power to discern the nature of desires in any form or any disguise. The weaker the wisdom, the more the intellect will give wrong commands which will be foolish in others' eyes. Nevertheless, the intellect makes the right decision, but the information we provide to the intellect is wrong. If we give the right information to the intellect, all our decisions will be right and it will be the very command of the intellect.
In the second part of the workshop, we have the first anniversary of traveler Bahman’s liberation from drugs. I would like to congratulate dear Bahman, his family, all those who serve, and travelers of this branch. Today is a beautiful day. One of the distinguished features of Bahman was his obedience. Although this was not the case at the beginning and he was selfish, it got much better over time. I hope that his good condition will continue and he will remain and serve others in Congress 60.
In the second part, the first anniversary of traveler Bahman’s liberation from drugs was celebrated at the branch.
Traveler Bahman’s words:
Hello friends, I am Bahman, a traveler. I have to thank God, Mr. Dezhakam and his respected family for providing this position so that as a drug consumer I was able to get liberated from drugs. One day I wished I could go to work in the morning and return home without consuming drugs. This was by no means possible until I came to Congress 60 and received treatment. I appreciate my wonderful guide-assistant Mr. Vali- Allah as well as my companion’s guide-assistant. Moreover, I have to thank former and new border-guards, the branch’s agent, my friends, my brother, and all my good companions who made me acquainted with Congress 60.
Masoumeh:
Hello friends, I am Masoumeh a companion. Today is a good day for me. I remember the first day when I came to Congress 60. I was too disappointed. I thank God that he loved me and I got acquainted with this holy place. Before my presence here, I did not understand the meaning of life at all. God knows how many nights I slept crying. I want to thank Mr. Dezhakam for providing this opportunity so that we can achieve tranquility and comfort. I always pray for him with all my being and I hope he will live for many years so that we can use his pure instructions. I hope I could compensate Congress 60’s services by serving others.
