I hope you are fine, I am well. I am happy that we are communicating now after your return. I am also so delighted that all of your writings are being kept in Illinois archive.
It is such an honor for me that my writings, our communications and pictures are being kept at this archive for the future historians.
The opening ceremony of “14 articles” was glorious and in a saloon of 500 people capacity there were more than 2000 people! They were forced to allocate another 1000 chairs at lobby and corridor but still many sat on the floor and some other watched the ceremony outside.
The opening ceremony was transformed into some kind of medical congress on addiction! I am saying this because we had 3 famous psychiatrists, one surgeon, three medical experts, and one physiologist (PhD) __ together 9 experts, each spoke about one article of the book (we didn’t have enough time to plan for all 14 articles).
And our music legion played Congress 60 related music for about half an hour. One was called the “winter song” which was composed by Amin who plays Clarinet and it was about homeless people who die under bridges and streets because of winter cold all around the world. It is a music that touches our hearts. The lyrics of this music are in Farsi and hopefully we can translate and send it for you.
First book was on sale (an auction - translator). Since your currency differs from ours so I am declaring the written price on the book so that you could fully understand the situation.
Anyone who wanted to enter this auction had to pay the equal price of 50 books, and more than 70 people participated in the auction. The winner of the first book paid the price equal to 7550 books!
All of this money is allocated to scientific researches of Congress 60.
At the opening I sold about 2000 pre- signed books. It took me about a month to sign all those books before the opening day.
The book signing record of Iran is certainly broken now but I am not sure about the other countries?!
The number of first printed books were 2000 so now we are printing more books.
We had a football match with art stars as well and final result was 2-2.
Our annual summer camp was held with 450 individuals as well.
12 of our cyclers covered about 170 kilometers of Tehran and we had some other ceremonies that I will send pictures and videos gradually.
I must point out that sweet Methadone is very dangerous. And if they investigate surely it will be revealed that many children or adults who has no history of addiction died for taking sweet Methadone wrongly.
A friend of mine claims that we have about 15 Methadone overdose deaths in my country. I am certain if they make the Methadone solution bitter then if someone drink a sip of Methadone by mistake he will spit it out! Changing the taste of Methadone could prevent many deaths.
Our OT solution tastes bitter. The bitterness is for new users or abusers and those who are ingesting OT for treatment purposes get use to this taste.
I must mention that pharmaceutical companies make the Methadone solution sweet to make money indeed.
