Judgment and Ignorance

Judgment and Ignorance

The fourth session of the 63rd  round of the Academy Branch Workshops was held on august  22nd ,    2018 at 10 a.m. This meeting was held by Mr. Dezhakam as the master of ceremony and Ms. Salva as the secretary. The weekly agenda was: “Judgment and Ignorance”.

 Mr. Dezhakam’s speech:

Generally, addiction is caused by the marriage of human and drugs. Addiction is the illegitimate child of human and drugs [therefore, when we want to cure addiction, we have to know both of them, both human and drugs]. Knowing human being is not only required for those who want to treat addiction, but also for all human beings. We have many many problems in our life; however, in the textbooks, nothing is provided for worldview and how to live. We have to know how to trust others, how to make decisions and how to judge.

Today’s agenda is about Judgment and Ignorance, judges (the jury) in the courts should study several years, they have to know the rules and laws and then they are allowed to judge. When they want to  judge, they need documents and evidence and they call the involved parties to the court, they do research and after a long time, they give the verdict and someone pleads guilty to murder; however, after 10 years, they find a man declaring that “I have been the murderer” and the jury just is informed that they had been  wrong in these years. I want to conclude that judgment is a very difficult and problematic issue. Judges sometimes judge wrong, although their profession is to judge. Then, how is it possible for us to judge about everything? The more ignorant a person is, the more judgments will be made.

From birth, human being has to judge about their own matters: where to go, where not to go, to select or not to select something, to buy or not to buy something, we are always judging [and it is appropriate]; however, today’s agenda is about the judgements that are not our business. The more ignorant you are, the more you will judge about the matters that are not related to you. When we want to make judgments, we have to first pry into others’ matters, then you have to be suspicious. It is forbidden [in Islam] to be suspicious about others, we have to get rid of these bad habits, because they merely bring us sufferings and misery.

In Congress60, you are not allowed to ask someone where they live, what their job is, what grade they are in and how much they earn. The only thing that is related to us is our own matters. Stop judging about what is none of your business. The only job of judging is to make you poisoned.
