I hope you are fine, I am well.
Great things are happening these days and I am so happy about it. I just wanted to welcome those who are joining our international research team.
It is such an honor for me. Hopefully we will be able to enlighten the dark area of addiction together. We can’t achieve that unless we accept that long term recovery and physical treatment of addiction complete each other and are two side of a same coin.
I think in our researches we must transcend beyond cultural, racial, religious, language and other differences.
We shall not make any assumptions and keep ourselves clear of prejudices and then we can make use of our results and share them with the whole globe.
In this research we require people who has been working in field of recovery for a long time. On the other hand, we need physicians who has the proper field experience at their disposal. I have come to this conclusion that addiction is an illness of 3 aspects which are body, psyche and worldview or the way of thinking.
Therefore, physical treatment alone is insufficient and also psyche or worldview treatments are not sufficient as well.
As I can see most of today treatments are not getting tremendous results since they are incomplete.
I have established Congress 60 in Iran in during of 20 years and now our membership card holders are more than 62000 individuals.
We are active in more than 50 centers all over the country and all of our services are free of charge. We are financially independence.
Now we have between 8000 to 10,000 individuals who are using OT (opium tincture) and they are being treated by DST method.
Each week we have approximately 80 to 90 individuals who reach addiction treatment completion with minimum rate of relapse.
I do believe that addiction is a known illness and is completely curable.
I announce that the doors of Congress 60 are open to any type of research and I intend to share this knowledge (with evidence and proof) that I have found with everyone.
We (Congress 60 members and I) welcome you for doing researches.

Although my communications with Bill (via my translator Ehsan) is firm and I am speaking with Dr. Ekhtiary once a week in Farsi.
