My name is Alireza, I am 54 years old, and I am an Iranian living in Tehran.
My father is a well-heeled man, he and my grandfather are hardcore addicts, so I got familiar with narcotics since childhood but I always hated narcotics. Around 24 years ago for lack of hobbies in my leisure time, one afternoon I went to a turning workshop with one of my relatives, ten people were smoking opium there, they asked me to join and I joined them, I smoked opium for the first time, and I became engaged to opium.
After using opium for almost 22 years I finally decided to quit it but the substance which I chosen was inappropriate, substances like alcohol, opium sap, hash, and at last meth which destroyed my life ultimately and made me face disappointment.
One they I heard my brother Daryoush has revived from addiction in Congress60, I attended Congress60’s workshops, and I traveled (In Congress60, a Narcotics addict who lounges for revivification from the chain of addiction is called Traveler whom has started his journey.) for 10 months and after that my heavy usage of narcotics (3 grams of opium and 1 gram of meth) was treated.
