I share your wish that we could meet face-to-face as friends and fellow-travelers on the recovery road and your regrets that current circumstancespreclude that.
I will look forward to the gifts that you are sending. As you know, the gifts you have sent before are prominently displayed in my home and elicit much praise from visitors on their beauty and craftsmanship. Please extend my deepest thanks to the traveler from Isfahan whose hands created it. I will also look forward to the copies of your books, particularly the signed copies.
As an update on our latest interview project, it is now being proofed and my plan is to post it with your other writings under Friends and Favorites section and in the Leadership Interviews / Recovery around the World section of my website where your other books, papers and interviews are now posted. I will then post a blog announcing the new interview. I will let you know when this isall completed. The latest interview should draw a large readership.
We will give some more thought this year about publishing the Love Book. I have discussed this with some publishers but have not yet had firm offers for publication. The publishing business is in considerable turmoil here due to the rapid growth of the e-book market. Many traditional bookstores are closing as more people are reading books on e-readers and tablets and as self-publishing through e-books is increasing. Perhaps an electronic version of the book would be possible here.
Rita and I are both feeling better after our recent illnesses and my trip to Illinois for my mother’s funeral services. We are looking forward to getting back to the daily routines that we so enjoy. I am still writing a few hours each morning but find at my age that I lose energy and clarity of thinking by late morning. Most afternoons we spend walking and reading.
