The eighth session of 30th round of the Academy Branch Workshops was held on 2 November , 2017 at 1 p.m., this meeting was held by traveler Mehdi as the master of ceremony and Mr. Ali as the secretary. The guest speaker was Mr. Amin. The weekly agenda was "Golrizan: Money Donation".
Mr. Amin: Today's agenda is Golrizan and this is the first time I will speak about it. The meaning of this word lies in its form: (Gol in Persian means flower and Rizan means donation). Master Dezhakam has spoken about this agenda and he mentioned our ancestors' life style which was somehow better than our life style today, because they planned for what they wanted and needed and their goal was to find problems and propose solutions for them. In that time, fashion and showing-off had not been entered from the west into our culture and many things had not existed.
Golrizan was carried out in Zurkhanes (a place for Iranian national and historical sport) and Congress60 is gradually doing the same. In the past, when a person died, or when the young wanted to get married; their relatives and family members helped them and provided money for them according to their monetary power and love. The money collected in Golrizan was devoted to the grief-stricken families or those who wanted to get married. In this way, those people would not suffer the hardship of bad days. Furthermore, people helped them using their own skills and physical power. I clearly remember one of our relatives who had overdosed drugs and had not the required balance; he died in a trailer crash. All our family members collected money for his family in Golriazan and reduced their sufferings. These traditions were absolutely correct and aided the psychological balance and integrity in society. After a while, Golrizan changed and was replaced with flower-bunches and gifts which had showing-off dimensions. Therefore, problems increased. Today, expense for funeral or marriage ceremonies is about $7500 to $10000 and the family should pay their debt in several years. We learned this tradition (from the past) and used it in Congress60. We need money and workforce for the development of Congress60's aims and goals. Congress60 belongs to us in one viewpoint and it does not belong to us from another. We come and learn many things here and it should progress in its way. In Congress60, between 3000 and 5000 people are getting liberated from addiction each year, but we have about two million addicts in our country. This distance is very huge. This statistic is only for our country and we are not merely considering our own country. If we want to make a substrate for the treatment of addiction (meaning if we want to extend our activity so that more people come and get liberated rom addiction); money and facilities are needed.

Today, we are gathering together in this feast so that everyone takes part in this participation to the best of their ability and interest so that we can see Congress60 progress in this regard. University of Harvard is always the best in all the rankings. Our country's Foreign Exchange reserves are the same as Harvard's about 27 billion dollars. Except this reserve, they have lots of facilities and equipment. As we grow the professional workforce, we should fortify our financial basis. We should satisfy our own needs to the best of our power so that no one suffers from this pressure. In the following, Golrizan waz carried out and $10500 were gathered in the male companion section of Academy branch .One of the male companions also devoted a piece of land in Damavand to Congress60.
