The fifth session of 13th round of the Shams Branch Workshops was held on 16 May, 2017 at 5 p.m., this meeting was held by Mr. Amin Dezhakam as the guest speaker, Mr. Mahmood as the as the master of ceremony, and Mr. Vahid as the secretary and the weekly agenda was "The Ninth Valley (Tolerance is built when a force begins at a low level and gradually increases) and its Effect on me."
Mr. Amin: I am thankful to the master of the ceremony and to you all for your permission to me to serve here today. Your branch has a very good weather condition and a nice garden; however, the most important point is the deeds which are done (how much service is provided here to the people). This is a place to learn more and this is our action which determines our success. In the very first day of the establishment of Congress60, the rules were not written, therefore, everything was done on the basis of friendship. Gradually, Congress60 evolved through time and we have many branches now. Many things have differed from the past and many things have been achieved through observation, experiment and experience. Now we have lost of rules and positions defined, however, we have to observe several rules to be able to continue our path:
How much do we respect these rules?
How much do we take these matters seriously?

It is a fact that the didebans (watchers) and Mr. Dezhakam are not able to attend all the Congress60's sessions or legions. Now, the question is that to what extent we observe the rules and how much we apply them in our life. This determines the path we follow. To simply state it you can consider a person who attends Congress60 for the first time. They come to save their family and get liberated from addiction. In their second travel, they gradually start serving people in Congress60 and as a result people tend to know and respect them. People will accept whatever they say, but these helpful people may reach a point that they think they know everything. They think it does not matter if I change a rule. When a person reaches such a point, the process of their evolution will turn upside down. They also cause damages to the branch in addition to themselves. Therefore, their power and credit will be lost. Moreover, the energy resulted from these sacred places will be destructed.
here the person must encounter their pride. If the rule tells me to speak for five minutes as a guest speaker or cooperate for four minutes in the session, I have to observe it. All the people must observe the rules regardless of their positions. If the person does not obey the rule, it shows that they are proud of themselves meaning that they consider themselves higher than others and the laws in positions. Applying the rules is like making a statue and you can shape it in either the best or worst possible way. When you apply the rule, you can do it in the best or worst way, then you rise or fall.
In the beginning of the ninth valley, we have a message reading that "for those who have entered a new world, those who have been liberated from addiction, it is the time to apply what you know now and put them into action." This valley refers to those who are liberated from addiction, not for the newcomers. A traveler must have a job outside Congress60 and they must start to move (on the right path) when they enter Congress60. Serving people in Congress60 is a part of the process of treatment. Those who are serving in Congress60 tend to have a sense of well-being compared with those who do not serve people in Congress60. The person who serves people experiences a sense of well-being meaning that this valley has occurred in them!
When you serve people, you will get a reward. If you put whatever you know into practice and start serving people with love, a reward is waiting for you. This reward is those helping hands which come to your help. When a person serves with love, their reward is their pupils' obedience. All the people come to help you. We all know that human beings are nothing if they are alone; however, if they are together, they will progress.
This valley (Tolerance is built when a force begins at a low level and gradually increases) states several things: First, we understand that the addiction treatment happens gradually. Human beings want to do everything, namely: swimming or studying books, for instance, a person who has not read a book for 20 years suddenly decides to study eight hours a day. On the first day, good events will occur, but after a few days, they become tired and give up. That is because they do not consider two important things: a) the time and b) repetition. A person who has not studied for 20 years, should start from half an hour a day and then increase this amount during time. Actually, this must happen within time. When you have not enough knowledge, the negative forces play a complementary role.
Air resistance or friction force is always considered as negative. When a person has a carriage, they must fight with the friction force; however, a person with a bicycle has overcome this friction force. When your knowledge is low, it plays the role of a negative force.
