Weeky workshop on Guides' week by Master Dezhakam

Weeky workshop on Guides' week by Master Dezhakam

The fourteenth session of 58th round of the Academy Branch Workshops was held on 28th  April, 2017 at 11 a.m., this meeting was held under the supervision and mastry of Mr. Dezhakam. Mr. Mahdi also acted as the secretary and the weekly agenda was "Guides' week."

Master Dezhakam: Hello friends, I am Hossein, a traveler. I am fine and hope you are fine too.

Today is April 26. Today's agenda is very nice and beautiful. We have four celebrations in Congress60: guides' week, companions' week, guards' week and watchers' week. This week is guides'. Actually, guides  are the generating factories, small engines  or producing fields of Congress60. When we set up Congress60, from the very beginning, I determined several traits for a guide in terms of their knowledge, awareness and behaviours, because not everyone is able to guide people through darkness towards light. Getting cold-turkey is not enough for being a guide. A guide must have required knowledge, awareness, and wisdom. A guide must have gained appropriate behavior and worldview. A guide must have these traits, because we cannot fight with negative forces with a wooden sword.

Addiction is the result of marriage between a human being and addictive drugs. Therefore, we have to know both well. We have to know human beings in terms of their physiology, worldview and thoughts.

In the first days of Congress60' establishment, no one accepted to take part in the guides' exam. They claimed that "we get addicted, because we wanted to avoid taking exams. You are now telling us to take an exam!". I told them "this is a fake exam, we ask some questions and we accept you as a guide". Little by little, the guidance exam became popular all over the country and it got more difficult. We have people here who have taken six months off to study for the guidance exam. They are preparing themselves for an exam and try to be accepted in that only to serve people for free. 3000 people have registered for this exam. These are the people who are either liberated from addiction or on the .3 cc OT daily or those who have been on the process of nicotine-redemption for more than six months. They are all wise and have required knowledge. They have reached a level where they have realized that they have to be thankful for whatever done for them.

In developed countries, they teach three words to their children: a) please, b) thank you and c) excuse me! Sometimes, some people think that it is detraction from their dignity if they excuse for what they have done wrong. According to holly Quran, human beings tend to hide the favours that their  teacher (the Lord) has done to them. This teacher includes their parents, their teachers in school or trainers. For an instance, an individual has learned how to wrestle from his couch and when he became a good wrestler, he starts insulting and condemning his couch, he hides his trainer. Some people introduce their old mother as their servant in front of others! 95% of people hide their teachers including their parents, teachers, guides. Do children remember how much effort their parents have undergone to grow them up?

Another trait of human beings is that they show ingratitude towards their trainers. How do they thank their teachers? How do they thank their parents? Are they grateful to their teachers? Do they thank them? All human beings are in loss (according to the holly Quran), except for those who have faith and do the righteous actions and recommend themselves to love, kindness and patience. The guides in Congress60 do the same work. All people are ungrateful except for those who are wise and aware, and who have faith and recommend themselves to love and patience. Therefore, if we are thankful to those who have taught us anything, we are placed in the right side. We should think a bit more, we should appreciate the teachers' and masters' position and their hard work. If someone was your guide 20 years ago, and now you see him, you have to respect him. This brings God's gaiety. The interesting point is that whatever you do to others, you do to yourself. Imam Ali mentioned that if someone teaches me a letter of alphabet, they have made me their servant (I owe them).

Nowadays, everything is determined in terms of money. They call you mad if you say I serve people for free. They ridicule the guides' free work. Guides in Congress60 are working to help a person come out of the dark. We have 2000 guides right now and it is not a small number.

I firmly believe that no one in the world has as much information as our guides (both travelers and companions)  have here in Congress60. No one like them is able to easily treat addiction. The guides do it easily. Whatever we do is for ourselves. If we respect our elders, when we become older, others will respect us. However, the guides have to respect their own position. A guide must keep their position, because they have ratified a treaty in front of God, Congress60's supervisor, watchers, travelers and companions, all of whom are witness. In front of them, you promise that you will not exceed the laws and limits of Congress60.

right way.

If a first traveler (on the daily .3 cc OT) ruins his travel, they will receive 10 lashes, when a second-traveler return back to addiction, they will get 20 lashes, however, if a guide does something wrong, they will receive 100 lashes, because they have reached wisdom and knowledge and they have promised and ratified a treaty not to exceed the rules and limits in Congress60. They must keep their treaty and we have to appreciate them in the guides' week. No one can say that I am not in an appropriate monetary condition and I cannot thank my guide. You have to thank your guide, even if your monetary condition is not good. If you are not in a good monetary condition, the least thing that you can do is to write a letter for your guide, you are not required to buy them anything.

On Sunday, I met a mother whose girl has been smoking heroin, she told me I have hospitalized my daughter in a clinic and I have paid 3000$ for 12 days, after all, she is now smoking heroin and eating psychiatric pills further.

If they ask you to pay five dollars for Congress60's land, you will not pay that, however, you easily go and pay 5000 dollars anywhere else, however, they cannot treat your addiction.

I do not tend to make Congress60 a financial agent, when I am telling you to give  a pocket of money to your guides as your present in the guides' week. You should realize the joy of bestowing. You should know how to donate. Some people bestow their life. You should learn to bestow your life for human beings. Compared to this, giving five or ten dollars is nothing. A guide has worked out for you during a year, now you say that I have not any money to give as a gift to my guide! These are all excuses, they are worse than sins.

Since six months ago, you did know we have guides' week and you had to prepare yourself for this day. We are fixing the guides' position with this appreciation, meaning that we know our guides' efforts. It means that your guide is precious to you and you do this to appreciate your guide's work. It is true that love is not considered in terms of money or touch, but sometimes we have to show it by some means. Never ask: "how can I thank my guide?" like a person owning a dog. He was weeping in front of his dog. A passenger came to him and asked why he was crying. He answered that my dog was hungry. The man replied: "ok, you are not to weep, just give a piece of bread to it". The dog's owner said: "no, I cannot! I can cry but I am not able to bestow some bread!" The passenger said: "you have to eat 100 kilograms of bread to have 50 drops of tear! How can you give your tears but not your bread?" The same happens to us.

Master Dezhakam continued that I love the companions attend here on the day of their travelers' liberation of addiction. God will not allow all people to serve other people. I congratulate this day to all the guides. Saving a person's life is equal to saving a community. Some of you have saved 20 or 30 or more lives. The Lord has allowed us to serve people and it is his mercy on us, because he loves his people. When a person is liberated from addiction, they have rescued a family or a community.

We have to appreciate our guides in the best possible way. The guides here are doing their best and I am trying to extend their period of serving; however those who are not doing well must go and serve in other positions.

I hope you all the best and I want God to help you. Now, the guides have come from Mashhad, Ghazvin and Karaj, this must be appreciated.

I hope you celebrate this week in the best way.

Thank you for listening to my speech.
