Tree planting ceremony is over now. Now we are awaiting the initiation of spring to celebrate Nowruz. Congress 60 holidays will last for 14 days. I will come to my office the first 5 days of holidays to host Congress 60 members but after that I will travel abroad with my family(Bali island located in Indonesia).
As you can recall, in twelfth valley each revived addict must plant a tree annually and after planting he must take care of it.
This year we invited governmental organizations to be presented at our ceremony(natural resources organization, forest preserving organization, Drug control headquarters and etc.).
The result was marvelous and even I was surprised how warm they welcomed. Anyway the result is they value the addiction recovery more now.

I had an idea regarding this matter that I wanted to share with you. If we could intertwist the annually tree planting ceremony with recovery process it can yield great results. The only person capable of spreading this idea is you.
This move (tree plantation) could be imaged as an act of making amends for addiction period and way of thanksgiving for addiction revivification.
It can cover the forest loss all over the world. We could contribute to the world with this afforestation.
I heard that each tree could produce enough oxygen for two person.
About your questions;
Any individuals deems unsuitable for treatment in Congress 60 referred to NA?
Yes, we encourage them to utilize NA and some other methods.
How are Congress 60 members using the DST method received in NA?
Those who reach good results with DST method continue their recovery within Congress 60. Those who didn’t achieve good results with DST method attend NA sessions. If they stop taking OT they will be welcomed to participate in NA sessions and if not they will be encouraged to withdraw from OT.
In many U.S. NA groups, individuals are not considered drug free until they have ceased all use of addiction-related medications. Are Congress 60 members attending NA viewed as drug free while they are taking OT as part of their treatment and as long as they are using no other substances?
NA in Iran follows the same principles as American NA. Those who attend NA are not considered as drug free unless they stop using medicines.
Congress 60 believes the same, but we are using the “first traveler” term.
If anyone goes to NA from Congress 60 he must obey the NA rules. He cannot take OT while he is attending in NA sessions because he will be blamed.
Are there any formal communications between leaders of Congress 60 and leaders of NA in Iran?
No, there is no formal communications. Our relations is friendly (informal). NA leaders are mostly my friends. I was attending NA for almost a year (when NA was forming in Iran). Even now when there is a meeting hosted by governmental organizations I see NA leaders. Now there is a mutual respect and friendship between us.
What percentage of individuals who have completed their treatment in Congress 60 participate in NA as a form of continued recovery support?
If someone achieves results with DST method he is very unlikely to attend NA sessions. And also if someone gets results within NA he is very unlikely to attend Congress 60 meetings.
Those who have failed in one method may go from NA to Congress 60 or vice versa.
I have met and spoke with those who failed in NA and now they are attending Congress 60.
After holidays we could have an exact statistics of former NA members who enter Congress 60.
But it is impossible for me to have statistics of the reverse situation.
