Dear Hossein,
I am pleased to hear that your meetings with Dr. Nouruzi are proceeding and going well and that you are developing a research project to analyze data from Congress 60. Yes, do keep me posted on the progress of this research and any ways that I can be of support. As we have discussed before, I think such studies will be an important next step in expanding the international influence of the ideas and methods of Congress 60. This is all quite exciting.
You have written before about the work of the financial legions, but I do not recall you describing the annual ceremony. Could you describe that for me?
My work is continuing on development of a photo gallery for my website. I hope to be ready to begin work on the photo album on Congress 60 early next year and will be writing you to discuss selection of photos for that section. You have shared so many wonderful photos with me over the years that it is going to be hard to select 25-30 for inclusion in the photo gallery.
I am glad you enjoyed the photos I sent. One of the reasons we chose to live here was getting closer to nature. Living in a small marina community always provides pleasure in watching boats come in and out of our small harbor and seeing all the flowering trees and shrubs. We also see wildlife most every day on our walks. Yesterday we watched several large turtles and an small alligator swimming in one of the ponds in our neighborhood and saw a manatee mom and her baby swimming in the canal behind our building. We sometimes take evening walks and the moon shining off the water is quite beautiful.
I am pleased to hear that you have received rain in Tehran. You may have seen the news of the horrible forest fires in our state of California due to climate change and the resulting drought. We fear hundreds of people have been killed and at least one community almost completely destroyed by the fire. Our hot temperatures in Florida are continuing later into the fall each year, with temperatures continuing in the 90s well into November. This past week is the first week we have had cooler weather.
This week in the U.S. we celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday. It is ideally a time of feasting, family fellowship, and expressing gratitude for our many blessings. Rita is preparing a big meal for our family gathering. Let me use this holiday to again express my gratitude for our continued friendship and for the work we are able to do together. And extend my warmest regards to the men and women of Congress 60 whose transformed lives have warmed my heart.
