بابت عکسهای تعطیلات سپاسگزارم. تمامی بشکه از آب سیب پر شده اند؟ چه برداشت عظیمی از سیب بوده است.
نامه ای دریافت کردم که گفته شده علیرضا نوروزی این یکشنبه با شما ملاقات خواهد داشت تا پیشنویس مقاله را بازبینی کنید. امیدوارم که بتوانید کمک کنید تا مقاله مورد رضایت شما بشود. خوب خواهد شد که بتوانیم متد DST را با جزئیات مانند روشهای استفاده TO در ایران داشته باشیم. حتما مرا در جریان آنچه درباره مقاله فکر میکنید بعد از اعمال اصلاحات توسط علیرضا قرار دهید.
من در بهبود زبانی پیشنویس کمک کردم اما از نظر فنی نتوانستم آن را ارزیابی کنم. خوشحالم که شما هم در این کار حضور دارید.
اخیرا روی بلاگهایی که چکیده فعالیت های ریکاوری در دیگر کشورها مانند ژاپن و فیلیپین را بازتاب میدهند فعالیت میکنم و تحقیقات ریکاوری جدید را جمع بندی میکنم. به نظر میرسد که قدرت ذهنی و انرژی جسمی لازم برای انجام مقاله کامل را ندارم، اما هنوز از نوشتن این مطالب کوتاه لذت میبرم.
برنامه من این است که بلاگم را تا پایان امسال ادامه دهم و سپس آینده آن را دوباره ارزیابی کنم. یک پروژه دیگر که روی آن کار میکنم تبلیغ و پیشبرد ترکیب درمان اعتیاد و مراقبت های اولیه سلامتی است. اکنون این دو سیستم در آمریکا به طور جداگانه فعالیت میکنند و من میخواهم که جامعه سیستم سلامت پزشکی بیشتر وارد درمان اعتیاد شود و مسائل مربوط به سلامت را ارزیابی کند که شامل ترفیع قطع سیگار است همانند کاری که شما در کنگره ۶۰ به انجام رسانیده اید.
من و ریتا در حال برنامه ریزی برای سفری کوتاه به الینویس برای ملاقات خانواده هستیم. وقت خواهیم داشت تا با دخترم و شوهرش باشیم و خواهرانم و دوستانی که مدت زیادی است ندیده ایم را ملاقات کنیم. دو روز رانندگی تا آنجا راه داریم؛ اما این روزها بیشتر از رانندگی لذت میبریم تا هواپیما. اوایل سپتامبر برای سفر با ماشین به شمال و بازگشت از آنجا زمان خوبی است.
بازهم لطفا سلام گرم من را به خانواده و اعضای کنگره ۶۰ برسانید. خوشحال شدم وقتی شنیدم شانی به عنوان جایزه کارش یک دوربین جدید دریافت خواهد نمود.

Thank you for the photos from your holidays. Were all the barrels in the photos filled with apple juice? That must have been quite a harvest of apples.
I just received communication that Alireza Noroozi will be meeting with you this Sunday to review the draft paper. I hope you will be able to help correct the paper to your satisfaction. It will be good to have the DST protocol described in detail as well as other ways TO is being used in Iran. Be sure to let me know what you think of the paper Alireza will be revising after your meeting. I tried to help polish the language in the first draft but could not properly evaluate the technical content. I am please you will be involved in this.
I have been working recently on blogs that highlight recovery advocacy activities in other countries (e.g., Japan, the Philippines) and summarizing some recent recovery research. I don’t seem to have the intellectual power or physical energy to take on full articles at this point, but I still enjoy writing these very short pieces. My plan is to continue my blog at least through the end of this year and then re-evaluate its future. Another project I am working on here is promoting the integration of addiction treatment and primary healthcare. They now exist in the U.S. as two very different systems and I want to see improved responses by the medical community to addiction and do a better job in addiction treatment assessing and treatment a broad spectrum of health issues, includingpromoting smoking cessation—as you are doing so well in Congress 60.
Rita and I are planning a short trip at the end of this month to visit family in Illinois. We will get to spend time with our daughter and her husband and visit my sisters as well as many friends we have not seen in some time. It will take two full days of driving to get there, but we seem to enjoy the drives more than flying these days. Early September should be a pretty time of year to make the drive north and back.
Please continue to extend my warm regards to your family and all members of Congress 60. I was pleased to hear Shani will be awarded a new camera in honor of her past work.
