The 11th session of the 62nd round of the Academy Branch Workshops was held on June 20th 2018 at 12:30 p.m. This meeting was held by Mr. Dezhakam as the master of ceremony and Mr. Hamed as the secretary. The weekly agenda was “the tenth valley: Human being past attributes don’t remain the same because, he is constantly changing.”
Mr. Dezhakam: Hello friends, I am Hossein, a traveler, I am fine and hope you are keeping well. Happy Eid Fitr to you all. We experienced a special feeling in the month of Ramadan . This month made our hearts close to each other and all the members could cooperate with each other. Every day, they cooked Ifatr for the members. Amin told me that there were some problems and for the next year I have to tell some points regarding the amount of food or stew for each person. We have a unique way of cooking which has not been discovered by women or foreign chefs and this trick was adding minced onion to our food. The chefs had been doing their best to make food consistent and thick, but they were not successful. They added many things including flour but they could not make it thick. Some fried onion but it will lose its nutritional values.
We also have saved lots of money from the money that the members had donated for Iftar.
Last week agenda was “cigarettes”, and because of Ramadan and cooking food, I could not speak about it. Smoking cigarettes and hookah means that the X-system has not been recovered and the guides who are smoking cigarettes must hand over their legions and smoke whatever they want! However, since a guide is a role model and must be a faultless epitome, they are not allowed to smoke cigarette and they must stop smoking it. If they want to smoke cigarettes, they should leave their position as a guide.
The next point is that epitomes and positions are important to us. Guides are not allowed to seek for the pupils nor are they allowed to speak with the newcomers.
Today’s agenda is the tenth valley reading: “the tenth valley: Human being past attributes don’t remain the same because, he is constantly changing”. This changing character is for both humans and the Existence. It means that if we are encountering a problem or crisis, this is not our permanent status (i.e. this situation will change). If this trait [that everything is changing] did not exist, everything was disturbed. If a person is now experiencing hell (the worst possible situation), if they change their way of life towards the Light, God will help them and this is a divine rule. Western countries are much developed in technology and industry. However, regarding addiction, they believe that humans past attributes are not changing. They believe that addiction is a mysterious, progressive and incurable disease. But we say this is not true! I am very sad about individuals in other NGOs, because they try more than Congress60 members (to get rid of addiction) and their minds are filled with incorrect words.
Human beings past attributes are changeable. Nowadays, soft-drinks are provided in big glasses and McDonald’s sandwiches are king size and that is why many people are fat in the US. You see some people who are consuming 15 to 20 pills of methadone everyday. Or a person with Multiple sclerosis (MS) must have three injections a day and they have to pay lots of money. This process involves production of a lot of drugs and deals.
One of my friends’ child was sensitive to certain foods. Doctors had said that the child’s lungs went septic and pulmonary specialists were unable to cure the disease. My friend visited a traditional doctor and he had prescribed a rinse and the child was completely cured. I want to specify the point that western countries must not be our utopia [since modern medical science is unable to treat many diseases]. You see the western countries are unable to treat addiction, addiction in these countries cannot be cured. They believe that humans’ last attributes are with them to their death. But this valley states that previous attributes are changeable; however, in the US, they believe that God is responsible for everything happening in human life. Nonetheless, in Congress60’s view, it is believed that leaving the responsibility to God means neglecting one’s own responsibility. The western countries have a rule called Matrix to cure addiction, but in my viewpoint it is nonsense and futile. I have read the book written on Matrix in which they provide some instructions on psychological and spiritual issues so that an ice-consumer stops consuming ice. However, we believe that treatment of ice-addiction is impossible without using an appropriate medicine. It is said in their book (Matrix) that if you feel a desire for drugs, it is enough to tie an elastic and rubber band over your wrist and pull it as you desire drugs. As you pull the band and suddenly it turns back to your skin, you feel pain and this pain will stop you from consuming drugs. Even if a fortune-teller tells such a nonsense, all people will laugh at it. They say if a spouse wants to stop smoking drugs, while the other wants to continue smoking drugs, they must divorce or separate from each other.
We have come to the point that human being past attributes don’t remain the same because, he is constantly changing, we have to pay attention to our own achievements, we have to concentrate on our own relationships and pay more attention to love and affection. If we want to follow an epitome, we have to examine it. As Prophet Mohammad mentions: what is said is important, not who has said. You can know a tree through its fruits. We should see the fruits or achievements of any method [if a method claims that they are successful, their achievement must show this].
Human beings are bestowed the authority to change [themselves] and if they have any problem, they are able to solve it.
