Congress60's Championship in the National Beach Rugby Competitions

The first round of the National Beach Rugby Competitions was held in Sari on May 10 and 11, 2018 with the participation of 18 teams. The competitions ended by the decisive championship of Congress60’s team.  

Congress60’s rugby team including travelers and companions have been preparing themselves for the competitions for a long time. At the beginning of the tournament which was held in groups, Congress60’s team determined its ascent among teams like: Tehran Datis, Shiraz Otana, Tehran Part, Guilan Baran, Tabriz Federation, Tabriz Sahand and Mazandaran.

All the teams participated in this round were strong, including experienced national players who have already played in the international competitions. Congress60’s team could outdistance the main pretender of the competition, Guilan Baran and take step into the final match.

In the final game, despite of the presence of Congress60’s team which was unexpected to other teams and players participating in the competitions, some of which were honored to have team and individual international prizes, it was Congress60’s team which won the championship and introduced itself to the sports community as the wonder of these competitions. 

Perhaps the Congress60’s belief, saying: “Either we win or learn, there’s no failure”, is a motto to some people, as it is unbelievable that a team, including people who were once trapped in deepest  black holes, take part in a professional field and don’t think of winning or losing and even the result of the game.

That’s right. It is unbelievable for every one.

Ultimately, we would like to express our gratitude to Congress60’s base, Master Dezhakam, Mr. Salami, the boss of Congress60’s club, and all the players of rugby team who have donated themselves to send the liberation message to all people around the world without any expectations. We congratulate the rugby team members and also the Congress60’s members on the victory in a well-known sports field and achieving this great honor
