حسین عزیز

خوشحالم که میشنوم تعطیلات برای شما و اعضای کنگره ۶۰ خوب گذشته است. اینکه سیاست های دارویی شما در تعطیلات کارآیی داشته است نیز خود شاهدی است بر موثر بودن متد DST.
 
شعار سال جدید با ارزش است. داخل نمودن تحقیق به ماموریت کنگره ۶۰ باعث میشود ارزیابی ها و در نتیجه بهبود کیفیت ادامه داری روی متدهای شما انجام شود. این خود باعث میشود آنچه آموخته اید به تمامی متخصصان حوزه اعتیاد در سطح جهان انتقال پیدا کند.

درباره اینکه چگونه میتوانم در این راستا به شما کمک کنم تفکر خواهم نمود. چند امکان داریم که میتوانیم بررسی کنیم:
۱.یک دعوتنامه روی سایت من و شما قرار بدهیم که در آن از محققان، شامل دانشجویان دکترا که علاقه مند به همکاری در تحقیق با کنگره ۶۰ هستند دعوت به عمل آوریم.
۲.همین نامه را به طور اختصاصی به یکسری از محققان ارسال کنیم، مانند کاری که من پیشتر انجام دادم.
۳.به رابطتان در NIDA علاقه منی کنگره ۶۰ برای همکاری در مطالعات بین المللی را بیان کنید.
۴.به انجام مطالعات با محققان ایرانی ادامه دهید و در مجله های جهانی به چاپ برسانید.
فکر کنم گزینه آخر علاقه محققان آمریکایی و انگلیسی را برانگیزد. هر تحقیقی انجام دهید، خوشحال خواهم شد در انتشار آن کمک کنم. نظر خود درباره این موارد که بیان نمودم را به من بگویید.

همچنین به همکارانم در موسسه سلامت چستنات اعلام خواهم نمود که شما علاقه مند به ادامه انجام تحقیق مشترک با آنها هستید.

ما نیز در قسمت های جنوبی فلوریدا با خشکسالی مواجه شده ایم و آتشهایی بخاطر خشکی اتفاق افتاده و محصولات ما آسیب دیده اند. اینگونه آب و هوای خشن به نظر نتیجه بی احترامی ما به مام طبیعت است.

ممنونم که برای جراحی چشم ریتا بهترین آرزوها را دارید. اوایل می وقت جراحی دارد و انتظار داریم همه چیز به خوبی پیش رود. بازهم تشکر از هدایای فوق العاده تان. سینی زیبا اکنون مفتخرانه در کنار میز تحریر من آویخته شده است و من هر روز صبح که میخواهم کار روزانه را شروع کنم ابتدا علامت کنگره ۶۰ را میبینم.

Dear Hossein,

I am pleased to hear the holidays went well for you and the members of Congress 60. That your medication policies through these holidays  worked well is further testimony of the effectiveness of the DST method.
The new slogan for the year is a most worthy one.  Integrating research into the mission of Congress 60 will allow continual evaluation and improvement of your methods and help disseminate what you are learning to addiction professionals all over the world.
I will think about how I might best help you in this effort.  Here are some possibilities that we might explore: 1) posting an open letter of invitation through our two websites to researchers, including PhD students, interested in collaborating with Congress 60 on research studies. 2) Doing that same invitation in the form of a letter to selected researchers like the one I sent earlier, 3) conveying to your contact at NIDA your willingness of Congress 60 to collaborate with any international studies, and 4) continuing to pursue studies with Iranian researchers that can be published in international journals.  I think this last option will help increase interest among researchers in the U.S. and the U.K. Any studies you complete there, I will be happy to help disseminate.  Let me know your thoughts about some of these options.
I will also let my colleagues at Chestnut Health Systems know of your continued interest in hopes there might be future opportunities to collaborate with them on projects of mutual interest.
We have also faced some drought in southern Florida and as a result have had many brush fires due to the dryness and some of our crops have also suffered.  These weather extremes seem to becoming more common as a result of our disrespecting mother earth.
Thank your for your best wishes for Rita’s eye surgery.  She is schedule for it in early May and we are expecting all to go well.  And a continued thanks for the wonderful gifts you sent.  The beautifully crafted tray now proudly hangs next to my writing desk so I see the Congress 60 symbol each morning as I begin my writing tasks for the day.
