I hope you are fine, I am well. We came back to Tehran on 11th of August. We spend 8 days at farm. We worked together to seperate the apple sap which was in 170 barrels. We worked and enjoyed.
As I mentioned before my daughter Shani directs short videos called "Bekesh bekesh" ( weight it then smoke it!) Which is about experiences of revived addicts. Each one is 3 to 5 minutes and are posted on our website. I think now about 74 videos are on our website. Hopefully we will post them with English subtitle on our English section soon enough. I will have them sent to you as well. In this trip Shani asked me to speak about the outcomes of a sudden withdrawal. Because I believe a sudden withdraw of addiction (narcotics or alcohols) causes a biological shock to the body. This shock weakens the immunity system of the body.

I am so delighted with this paper because you have pointed out key elements.
What you have mentioned and I am quoting "Medication-assisted and psychosocial approaches to addiction treatment have historically existed as isolated, competing, and often mutually antagonist silos in the United States." Is a worldwide phenomenon. These two types of treatment should complete each other. Just like two sides of a coin. It is interesting that both of these sides dont believe in a cure for addiction. It means that the best approach to addiction trratment is not found yet. If fact addiction is concerned as a disorder now. All my efforts are toward changing the title of addiction from disorder to disease.
Thus we must prove the answer of three questions scientifically. We have gained alot of experience regarding the x theory, the DST method and OT along these years.
1. Which part of the addict's body is damaged exactly that we must cure it. In fact the pathology of addiction must be specified.
2. What approach are we going to take regarding the above mentioned. In other words what kind of medicine for how long should be used in order to complete treatment.
3. What is the exact time that we need in order to reach a certain cure.
Dear Bill, our statiscal pool is so diverse and our travelers are ready to participate in any kind of research (testing blood or brain scaning or any other type).
We can plan this research for future with the help of Ani and her assistants and universities or Mrs. Nora Volkow and NIDA.
This friendship of ours is quite unique. We took huge steps because of this friendship in one decade.
If you can recall when we were introduced I was written until the sixth valley. Your interest made me to write the whole 14 valleys and have them translated for you.
All the published papers and books are a small outcome of our friendship.
Sometimes I think 2 or 3 days to write an answer to your letter. Thats why most of the times I am thinking about you.
I thank God for this friendship which is based on love.
Love to all beings which is not understandable by most.
I always regard to you as a pillar in this structure which is trying to transfer the knowledge to everyone.
