The twelfth session of 58th round of the Academy Branch Workshops was held on 15th March, 2017 at 11:30 a.m., this meeting was held by Mr. Dezhakam as the master and Mr. Mahdi as the secretary and the weekly agenda was "The first and second world-view pamphlets."
Master Dezhakam: Hello friends, I am Hossein, a traveler. I hope you are fine too. Today is Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Today's agenda is the first and second world-views. When I see myself, I realize that we were not able to reach peace and calmness, unless our attitudes and perceptions towards the world, our country and ourselves changed. If we get liberated from addiction and our attitudes have not changed, we are not able to enjoy this liberation.
Today, I realized that worldview is very critical and effective in all the levels and phases. The communities enjoying high levels of worldview are living in peace. By living in peace, I do not mean being in industrial or developed countries. Generally, a significant trait of human beings is their worldview, attitudes and perceptions towards the world.
People from the lowest to highest levels of society must have this worldview. This is of more importance when people reach upper ranks. When you focus on our own behaviours, you perceive that we as drug-consumers never interrupt each other while speaking; however, you see presidential candidates attack each other, criticize each other severely, they insult and offend each other. How do they want to govern a country? It is related to their worldview and their thinking style. This shows that they are not educated enough and they lack a correct thinking. In another country, its president orders to kill the addicts, how strange this attitude is!
Who teaches this worldview? Where should it be taught? What is lacking in the high status authorities (that they think and behave in this way). This refers to lack of worldview.
An addict bothers everyone around them either in their family, village or city. However, in Congress60, about 600 individuals gather together in each session without any tension. This is the result of their worldview. Now, who is responsible for applying this worldview? Can we apply it to a person who has committed suicide? Can we apply the speech of a person who is hospitalized in an asylum and claims that God is dead? Can we apply the thoughts of a person who has written many books on the family matters but their own family members are in a nursing home. Having righteous divine views can help us in this regard. However, everything can be abused (including religions). If one sets fire to jungle, is the bullet guilty or that person? We need appropriate worldview for living in our families. When a family have the required worldview, they can peacefully live together. A city or a country needs this worldview either. In sports fields also, we need it. You may ask why? In Congress60, we equate psych with mood. One is always angry, one is irritable, aggressive or mad, each time reacts differently. This is called psych. Morality needs backing. We should know what type of thinking supports it. One may claim that we have nothing to do with the divine sources, we just consider morality. However, it is very important which type of thinking is behind this morality.
Psych is determined by two factors: the body physiology containing genetic factors on one hand and biochemistry and neurotransmitters on the other. When one lacks enough serotonin production in their body, they become depressed. When one's body produces less dopamine, they feel less energetic. Those with high levels of dopamine production, have more energy. Lacking in dopamine leads to Parkinson. Our worldview shows our attitudes towards the universe, birth and death. This shows if we are alive after death or not. All of these things determine our mood. Therefore, if one wants to get balanced in their manner and live in peace, they must have required worldview. We know a tree through its fruit. When an almond tree produces sweet almonds, they consider it as a good tree. When a person lives in peace, behaves appropriately and thinks, says (s.th) and acts rationally and reasonably, they consider him/ her as a qualified person in terms of worldview. But if we train a person and teach them worldview and s/he does not behave appropriately, their worldview is faulty.
In the first and second worldview pamphlets, Amin (Congress60's worldview watcher) has evaluated these things in detail. Although these pamphlets are very small, they are a masterpiece. In these pamphlets we realize that we have thinking, experience and knowledge. We understand what being proud means. Pride means that one knows some parts of a thing but they think that they know the whole matter fully. In the pamphlets, we read that a person who does not know how to play the piano, does not feel proud of themselves. When a person has not any medical information, they are not proud of knowing anything in medication. Being proud is against education meaning that when a person is proud of themselves, they cannot learn anymore. Because they think they know what is required and they see nothing to learn. One of the pupils in Congress60 was so proud of himself that he was not liberated from addiction in three years, because he thought that since I have had an M.A degree in economy and my guide has got diploma, I knew more than him (this person did not know he knew nothing about addiction). He was proud of himself, that is why he was never liberated from addiction.
In Congress60, we have no titles while introducing ourselves (except for me, you call me Engineer because I have invented the DST method). When you remove their title (including: Mr., Sir, Dr. etc…), they cannot be proud of themselves. These titles are of no help for treating addiction. That is why we say you have to put everything behind the door and then enter Congress60. If use their titles, you do not help them, on the contrary, it is an act of treachery. In Congress60, we have not social gap, one may come with their Mercedes Benz, while another person may come with his cheap carriage full of stuff, because we are all here to treat addiction. Therefore, if one wants to treat their addiction, they must surrender themselves to Congress60' laws.
One once asks how I can see the Lord. And the guide answers: just go away (from the way). Let's tell another story. A lover once knocks on the beloved's house door. The beloved asks who is on the door, he answered: it is "I". The beloved does not open the door. The comer (lover) asks why you do not open the door. The master answers two masters cannot be in the same house (because saying "I am on the door" means that you have the same status as the beloved). This story is the same as our work here. When you state that you know everything, you cannot reach liberation of addiction. Even if you are literate in any scientific fields, you must surrender yourself to Congress60's instructions. You can easily fill an empty glass with everything; however, you can never fill a full glass. When a newcomer thinks they know everything and feels full, how is it possible to fill them? Surrounding yourself to Congress60 means being empty. When you get empty, you are prepared for receiving the instructions. When you enter Congress60, you have to know first the conditions, then if you want to stay here, you have to surrender yourself to it. Otherwise, you can do nothing. I hope we can increasingly enrich our worldview, because it is impossible to get liberated from addiction without having appropriate worldview. It is impossible to change one's mood without worldview. You can never ever treat psych with pills, because psych is built on two foundations: physiology and worldview. If you equate psych with mood, you cannot heal it only with pills, you are in need of appropriate worldview and healthy physiology. You cannot treat a depressed person with pills only, their worldview must alter either, because they have their own type of worldview and this must change. Can you treat a person with psychological problem? No, you cannot treat them without medicine. You are not even able to treat addiction without medicine. You cannot rebuild a ruined building without construction materials. You cannot cure addiction without worldview and an appropriate medicine.
Another point is that the guides who are present in William legion (to cure their nicotine addiction) should treat their nicotine addiction within three months, otherwise, their legion will be completely closed (they cannot have new pupils).
